Second edition of this cycle dedicated to the cinematographic creation of the Balearic Islands. Each week a film of Balearic production will be screened, chosen for its relevance, quality and potential to connect with the audience, followed by the screening of an international film (or not) that has directly influenced its author. The activity has a strong pedagogical component and seeks to reinforce the cinematographic identity of the archipelago, highlighting the influences that nourish it. The proposal includes presentations and discussions.

On Thursday, November 13, Jaume Carrió will come to CineCiutat room 1 to present and chat about his latest short film 'The images were snatched away in time' and to talk about one of the most important and influential works in Wong Kar-Wai's filmography, 'Chungking express'.

In addition to the screening of both works, Jaume will moderate a discussion in which he will offer his particular vision of the Hong Kong artist's work and how it has influenced his own.
