At CineCiutat, CineCiutat Comunitats is born: a space to turn cinema into a shared, accessible and open experience for everyone, where films also become a way of bringing us together and talking about the world we live in. We want to build bridges with organisations and collectives from all fields and backgrounds, because we believe that culture, cinema and civic participation can become a tool for cohesion and a true social catalyst.

On May 5th at 11 a.m., we will present CineCiutat Comunitats with the short film De sucre, by Clàudia Cedó. The session, organised in collaboration with Apropa Cultura, Abdem, Mater and the Balearic Coordination of People with Disabilities, will include a post-screening discussion with women who have lived similar experiences in first person.
