On Sunday, March 29 at 11:30 am, we will screen Little Amélie as part of FeMA — the Manga and Anime Festival in Catalan across the Balearic Islands, an initiative with a clear goal: to promote the use of the Catalan language among children and young people through two of the most influential expressions of contemporary Japanese culture: anime cinema and manga comics.
At CineCiutat we join the festival with the screening of Little Amélie, a delicate and imaginative film that perfectly captures this spirit: discovering new worlds through cinema.
The festival is organized by the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics, with the collaboration of other institutions and organizations, and features a programme across the islands including activities such as introductory workshops on manga or kanji, talks with anime and manga experts, concerts, karaoke sessions and cosplay contests.
