Second edition of this cycle dedicated to the cinematographic creation of the Balearic Islands. Each week a film of Balearic production will be screened, chosen for its relevance, quality and potential to connect with the audience, followed by the screening of an international film (or not) that has directly influenced its author. The activity has a strong pedagogical component and seeks to reinforce the cinematographic identity of the archipelago, highlighting the influences that nourish it. The proposal includes presentations and discussions.

After winning the Talent Balear award at the last Atlantida Mallorca International Film Festival, we will be able to enjoy 'Somiant amb léons' at CineCiutat accompanied by Paolo Marinou-Blanco and Lluís Ortas on December 11.

Next we will be able to enjoy the screening of 'Bohemian Life' by Aki Kaurismäki, after which Paolo and Lluís will moderate a discussion in which they will talk about the reasons that make it one of their reference films.
