Synopsis

From December 1st to 5th, 2025, we are once again participating in Across the Screens: Europe Meets Latin America & Caribbean, an initiative that reaffirms our long-held belief that cinema is a bridge uniting cultures, perspectives, and ways of experiencing the world.

During these days, European cinemas will screen Latin American and Caribbean films (or co-productions) free of charge; and, at the same time, cinemas in Latin America and the Caribbean will open their screens to European audiences. A cinematic, emotional, and—why not say it—political exchange that celebrates dialogue between continents.

At CineCiutat, we join this celebration on December 2nd with one of cinema's most powerful films: Una mujer fantástica by Sebastián Lelio.

Evening Program

7:00 p.m. – Welcome and Introduction(Includes a brief presentation of the film and a screening of the Creative Europe MEDIA trailer)

7:30 p.m. – Screening of "A Fantastic Woman"

9:00 p.m. – Post-screening activity related to the film's theme, led by DraBingo

Includes a cocktail reception after the screening.

This session is free, and ticket reservations are easy and can be made in two simple steps:

Between today and tomorrow, only CineCiutat members can reserve their seats at their leisure.

Starting Thursday, we will open reservations to the general public and also launch our social media campaign.

An evening to celebrate cinema that transcends borders, that challenges, that moves, and that—like this film—remains absolutely essential.

We look forward to seeing you!
