There are images that not only arrive on time: they arrive when it's time. On January 2nd we'll screen Les imatges arribaren a temps, the short film by Jaume Carrió, and then we'll stay to chat. Because cinema, when it's from here and speaks with its own voice, demands conversation.

At CineCiutat we've always believed that giving a screen to local creators is not an exception, but the starting point. We did it in the beginning and we continue to do it now. With conviction. With pride. With perseverance.

Jaume Carrió already knows what it's like to go up to collect a Goya (2018) and this year he's a candidate again. When that happens, we don't look the other way: we go back to doing what we know how to do best. Accompany. Stand by and turn on the projector.

The screening will be followed by a discussion moderated by Javier Pueyo, Culture technician, with the presence of the director himself and producer Joan Bover (Far Visuals).
