A road movie combining live action and animation to follow the trail of the Mediterranean monk seal, one of the most endangered species on the planet. From the coast of Mauritania to the last refuges in Greece and Turkey, it retraces the great scientific and human adventure that has spent decades trying to understand the species and prevent its final disappearance, and opens a reflection on its possible return to the western Mediterranean.

Introduced by the directors, followed by a discussion with specialists in nature conservation.
