Balearic documentary shorts session “Artists in Flames”. Programme:

PAX: Explorar el silencio (Fer Lluna, Spain, 2026, 18 min, OV Spanish with Spanish subtitles)

PAX: Explorar el silencio emerges from a pact of trust between its director and actor-musician José Artero: to film without imposing a narrative and let the encounter shape the film.

Girbent (Martí Morell Crespí, Spain, 2026, 16 min, OV Catalan with Spanish subtitles)

While reproducing a famous Van Gogh self-portrait, Girbent poses a question as seemingly anecdotal as deeply provocative: is it really possible to copy a painting?

Ha estona i ara (M. Magdalena Puigserver Nadal, Spain, 2026, 7 min, OV Catalan with Catalan subtitles)

Catalina holds infinity in her hands: the present of a disappearing Mallorca and the living memory of those who learned to inhabit the here and now.
